First time we can hear 'Knocking' played live by The Stones with Taylor. Incredible! Finally they've opened the door for Taylor after all his knocking! Best.
  3. Malaktilar says:
Mick Taylor was lead guitarist for The Stones at the time. This was one of his earliest songs with the band - he replaced Brian Jones, who died in In , Taylor said: "'Can't You Hear Me Knocking' is one of my favorites. (The jam at the end) just happened by accident; that was never planned.
  4. Zulkigrel says:
"Can't You Hear Me Knocking" is a song by English rock band the Rolling Stones from their album Sticky Fingers. The song is over seven minutes long, and begins with a Keith Richards open-G tuned guitar intro. At two minutes and forty-three seconds, an instrumental break begins, with Rocky Dijon on congas; tenor saxophonist Bobby Keys performs an extended saxophone solo over the guitar.
  5. Mokus says:
Perhaps Taylor´s best-remembered Stones work was the Santana-like lead guitar in the jam break of the jazzy "Can´t You Hear Me Knocking." On the Stones´ classic double LP, Exile on Main Street, Taylor co-wrote "Ventilator Blues" and contributed bluesy guitar to such chestnuts as "All Down the Line" and "Soul Survivor.".
  6. Fejinn says:
